Die Kapelle Amorsbrunn wurde im 8.Jahrhundert gegründet und gilt als der Ursprungsort und somit als Wurzel von Amorbach. Sie liegt heute vom Stadtzentrum ca. 1,3 km entfernt. Ein sehenswertes Wallfahrtskirchlein mit einer uralten Quellenkultstätte. Im Innern der Kapelle befindet sich eine Wasserschöpfstelle, deren Trunk Heilung nachgeschrieben wird. Hinter dem Gebäude verweilt das Wasser und durchfließt ein mit rotem Sandstein gefasstes quadratisches Becken. Im Rahmen der Unterfränkischen Kulturtage 2018 fand an diesem Ort eine Kunstaktion mit Bernd Damovsky statt.
The chapel Amorsbrunn was founded in the 8th century and is considered the place of origin and thus the root of Amorbach. Today it is located about 1.3 km away from the city centre. A pilgrimage church worth seeing with an ancient source cult place. Inside the chapel there is a water scoop, whose trunk healing is written down. Behind the building the water dwells and flows through a square basin framed with red sandstone. As part of the Unterfränkische Kulturtage 2018, a performance with Bernd Damovsky took place in situ.
