Tour 1 Wolkmann

Südwestlich von Amorbach erstreckt sich der Wolkmann von der Stadtebene auf 389 m bis zu einer Höhe von 433 m.

Mit der Tour 1 überqueren wir den Berg und begeben uns in die Spuren des „Teddiepfads“.  Das Botzenstübchen war gewöhnlich die erste lang ersehnte Anlaufstelle der Adornos schon gleich nach der Anreise zur Sommerfrische nach Amorbach.
Entweder am Ende der Wolkmann Straße in Amorbach den steilen Hohlpfad zum Botzenstübchen hochsteigen (Wegmarkierung gelbe Drei), oder wahlweise den schöneren, etwas längeren Weg kurz vor dem Campingplatz rechts abbiegend wählen und Richtung Botzenstübchen wandern.
Nach dem Verweilen im „Holztempelchen“ geht’s weiter aufwärts. Am Ende des Pfads links abbiegen und den Kirchzell Weg gehen. Im Wald oberhalb von Kirchzell verläuft der Rundweg rechts weiter langsam bergab. Über den Schafhof Weg führt dieser über den Amorsbrunn Weg zurück.

Für diese Wanderung sollte man ca. drei Stunden einplanen.

Der Blick vom und zum Wolkmann wird im Essay Amorbach mehrfach erinnert. Mit den Wegen um über den Berg folgen wir einer von Adornos Wanderungen mit seinen Eltern unterwegs, als Neunjähriger wie in seinem Tagebuch von 1912 beschrieben.
„Den Pfad, der uns auf den Weg, der rund um den Kahlhieb führt, brachte, nannten wir, da er von mir entdeckt war, Teddiepfad.“

Southwest of Amorbach the Wolkmann extends from the city level of 389 to a height of 433 meters.

With Tour 1 we cross the mountain and follow the tracks of the "Teddiepfad". 
The Botzenstübchen was usually the first long-awaited contact point for the Adornos, right after the arrival to Amorbach for a summer retreat.
Either at the end of the Wolkmann Straße in Amorbach take the steep hollow path up to the Botzenstübchen, (trail markings yellow three) or alternatively take the more beautiful, somewhat longer trail turning right just before the campsite and walk towards the Botzenstübchen. 
After a rest in the "Holztempelchen" the path continues upwards. At the end of the path turn left and follow the Kirchzell Weg. In the forest above Kirchzell the circular path continues on the right slowly downhill. Via the Schafhof Weg this leads back via the Amorsbrunn Weg.

You should plan about three hours for this hike.

The view from and to the Wolkmann is reminisced several times in the essay Amorbach. With the paths around over the mountain we follow one of Adorno's walks with his parents on the way, as a nine-year-old boy as described in his diary of 1912.
"The walk that brought us to the path which leads around the Kahlhieb, we called it, since it was discovered by me, Teddiepfad."
